Family Pictures

We took some family pictures back in November. First ones since Jarret was born. They turned out great!

And here are Darci's 3 year pictures and Jarret's 1 year pictures. I'm pretty sure I never posted any of them.

Christmas

I have been so horrible with my blog posting. Not sure when I started putting these pictures up, but here I am finally posting it.
We had a good Christmas, Darci and Jarret opened one present on Christmas Eve, they got new pj's, of course! ;)
Here they are waiting to open their pj's.

Darci helped make some cookies to leave for Santa, with some milk of course. And she likes to write him a little note to remind him what she asked for.

Our tree after Mommy and Daddy, and Santa left our gifts for the kids. The big bear is for Darci from Daddy!

New puzzle

After we had Christmas morning at our house, we headed over to my Mom and Dads to open gifts from them. As we were leaving Jarret went running down the hall with a toy and fell, hitting his head on the drawer handle at the end of the hall. Being the horrible mother that I am, I didn't notice that he had split his head open until after I put him in the car, and then came back to give him something and saw that he had blood dripping down his head. Here is a picture after it was all cleaned up.

In hopes of getting my little "head splitting, teething, grumpy little boy" in a better mood, we let him start the present opening right away, by opening this gift from Grandma and Grandpa Bird. He was pretty excited.
If only that lasted. He wasn't too interested in opening any more presents...

Just drinking his milk and sitting with Grandma or Grandpa.

It was great to have everyone together, opening presents with little kids is the best, Darci and Wyatt ripped right into their gifts, Easton went very slowly. And Jarret just wasn't interested, but I think he enjoyed watching the other kids as much as the rest of us, ;)

Most of what I captured of Christmas was video, and unfortunately I can not upload any of them to the blog, not sure why.
We also spent Christmas Eve at my parents house, eating a yummy dinner, and my mom got these glasses for the kids.

A picture of the kids, just for fun. It's near impossible to get a pic of them both smiling and looking at the camera without hands in faces and hair. We got close, but not quite.
Love Jarret's face on the bottom left. ;)
