Trip to Telluride Colorado

For our 7 year anniversary we took a trip to Telluride Colorado with our friends, Steve and Tara, and Tara's brother Caleb and his friend Jaelise. It was also Steve and Tara's Anniversary that weekend and Tara's Birthday! Lots to celebrate! We went to do some 4 wheelin in our truck! It was a blast! The 4WD on the truck went out before we left, due to some other work done on the truck before the trip, and we didn't have time to get it fixed. So we rented a jeep one day to do trails that our truck in 2wd couldn't do. Here are some pictures in no particular order. There are more pictures  I was going to post, but blogger wouldn't let me, maybe I've exceeded the amount of pictures per post! ;)

Christmas in Colorado

Finally getting around to post about Christmas! Better late than never!

We were finally able to go to Colorado to spend Christmas with Merrill's family. We haven't all been together at the same time for 3 1/2 years. The last time the whole family was together there were 2 grandkids. There are now 9, the oldest being 4 1/2. Crazy! I think most of us expected quite the craziness, but the kids all did really well, with less fussiness and fighting than expected.

One day we went to the Rec center to swim. Jarret and I had blast going down the slides.

I didn't have my camera out. Luckily Grandpa got a picture!

We also took a trip to Cabelas. Jarret loved the fish!

The day after Christmas, which was also the day we left, Darci woke up sick. She laid on the floor watching movies and puking all morning. Poor girl. Luckily after a nap she was feeling better and we were able to get our or 10pm flight home with now more puking.

We got on the plane and Darci was upset that she couldn't sit right next to Daddy. The stewardess was right behind us and saw that Darci was upset, so she gave her this cute Christmas light neckless. So nice of her, Darci was super excited and she stopped fussing.
