I've been asked to post pictures of our new apartment. So here they are, we still haven't put everything away, so its a bit of a mess.

Darci is now 7 1/2 months old. She is not wanting to crawl, she just rolls everywhere she wants to go. She loves to stand, we can just put her in her crib standing at the side, and she'll stay like that for a while, just laughing and "talking" and chewing on the rail. She started taking little steps the other day when I hold on to her. And yesterday, she just took off. She likes to stop and bounce too. Here's a video..

This week was a slow work week for Merrill. He only worked 2 days. So we went to some parks at the beach, the Puget Sound beach. Here are some pictures:

After we moved in, we went down to Oregon to visit my family for the weekend. Darci and Wyatt get along great, they love playing together. Here is a cute video of Wyatt pushing Darci around in the little toy box.

When got back from Colorado, we had a HUGE job to do... MOVING! It was... well, LONG! We had planned to pick up the truck on Monday morning (Dec 28th) and then get everything loaded that day, clean Tuesday, and pick up my dad from the airport Tuesday night. And then leave Wed morning. Well, some of that went to plan (sort of)... This is how it all went; We got the truck, and were not packed up. Started loading all the furniture, with the help of some friends. Then realized that we had too much stuff for the truck that we rented. But, we continued to load it, determind to fit everything. So Merrill got creative and, with using the whole cab of his ranger (on a trailer behind the moving truck) and stacking and shoving things into spots in the truck he got everything in. But it took 2 1/2 days to get it all in. So, while he was doing all this, I was taking care of Darci and packing and cleaning. And we had my uncle pick up my dad from the airport and bring him to Provo, which was a HUGE help. Thanks Blake! And then we didn't leave until wed afternoon. :( Luckily we were only going to Boise that day, but with the weather, and driving a moving truck with a trailer, it took a lot longer than planned. Then, the next day we were supposed to arrive at our apartment, but it was getting late, and we didn't want to drive through the pass. So, we stayed in a hotel in Ellensburg. Then my grandma and grandpa met us there the next morning (new years day!) and drove the rest of the way with us, and helped with the moving in process. And my mom met us all at the apartment. Crazy crazy! But thats just moving to another state in winter!
She fell asleep on the floor while we were getting the last of the stuff loaded and everything cleaned.
When moving everything in, there wasn't anywhere to put the love sac, so they threw it up on the couch and then put Darci in it to keep her out of the way of all the moving in stuff.

What is a parents biggest fear? Well, one would be going into your baby's room in the morning to find them laying face down in their crib. Now, that Almost happened to me this morning. Darci went to bed really early last night, (woke up at 5:30 to eat, and back to sleep) and I didn't expect her to sleep past 8 this morning. But I woke up at 10 (yes, I slept in, it was nice) thinking, wow, I can't believe she is still asleep. Then the thought came to my mind, Holy crap, I hope she is just asleep. So I quickly went to her room, quietly opened her door. And saw her laying.. face down in her crib. I Quickly bent down to pick her up, and she turned her head, and made this sound like she was gasping for air. Although, I think she had been breathing just fine, it just scared me so bad. Thats what I was hoping not to see when I opened the door.

I'm finally able to post Christmas pictures! After all the craziness of Christmas and moving, and we now have internet in our new place.

We made it to Washington and got all moved in to our new place. Merrill starts work on the 11th. So we came down to Salem and surprised my family for the weekend. We don't have internet in our place yet, should running soon. I'll get some pictures up of the last few weeks once we get it going.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years!
