Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we went to My Grandma and Grandpa's house in Moses Lake, WA. All of the family from my mom's side was there for most of the weekend.
Before we left we had a lot of snow (for Seattle). And since Seattle is not prepared for such an event, most of the city pretty much shuts down. Merrill did not work at all that week. We expected that he would work wed, but that didn't happen so we got ready to leave for Moses Lake early. We just had to pack and take my car to get a belt replaced. But, when we went to start the car, it would not start. Tried to jump start it, and that didn't work either. So, Merrill had to go get a new battery and put it in, then we finally got the car over to get the belt fixed. And after driving through snoqualmie pass, and only getting backed up once from an accident, we finally made it there. And then after the car not starting again before we left, we made it back home.
Also, while we were there, we all celebrated my Grandparents 50th wedding Anniversary with a great party. We all had so much fun, and Grandma and Grandpa loved it!
Here are some pics and videos.

Darci loved looking out the window at the snow. This was in the morning, before we left while Merrill was trying to get the car running.

This was just before we left, Darci pulled all the TP off the roll pulling it through the apartment.

Kevin as "Where's Waldo"

Darci wearing his glasses. She also wasn't feeling well.

Darci and Wyatt watching a movie. Darci lasted there for about 2 minutes.

Gavin, Wyatt and Darci. This was after our family pictures. They were climbing the stairs, and I got my camera out and they all posed for me, then kept climbing around saying "cheese, cheese...."

This is from the Anniversary party. Grandma and Grandpa with all their Great Grandkids.

At the party the Grandkids put on a little Show. This is Derek, Brandon, Ryan, and Kristy (Brandon's Wife) singing Broken Road by Rascal Flats. I got a video from it, but my cameras memory card filled halfway through the song, so I got the first part and the last part of the song, here is the last part...

This is my brother's singing the song from wedding singer.

Kevin singing and playing "Better Together" by Jack Johnson. He did such a good job. My camera cut off at 3 minutes (apparently it won't take videos longer than that), so I didn't get the whole thing in 1 take.

This is my uncle Darin as elvis and his daughter's as his back up dancers.

Grandma and Grandpa feeding each other a bite of their cake. My mom made the cake top.

After all the performances from the grandkids, they decided they weren't done. They all started playing music and Dancing and singing on stage. so fun! And we put Darci, and Wyatt and Gavin on stage as well. They were all so cute up there Dancing.

This one was Awesome! Kevin walked up with his guitar and said "hey, lets sing Chicken Fried" (by Zac Brown Band). So they did. Watch little Gavin (white and blue striped shirt) just passed the middle of the song, he goes down to the ground trying to do "the worm" like some of the guys did earlier. Too cute!

Halloween

We went to Denver to visit Merrill's family for the Halloween weekend. The weather was awesome, it was sunny and about 70 degrees. Merrill's sister Kelly and her Husband came from Provo as well. It was a lot of fun. His grandparents were there on Sunday from Texas, they came to Denver for a conference.
We went to the pumpkin patch. Darci was pretty tired, and the sun was bright so she was always looking down for pictures.

Grandpa Larsen taught Darci to jump off things.

Grandma and Grandpa Larsen
(Merrill met us there later so we didn't get a picture like this)

She stuck with Grandpa the whole time we were at the pumpkin patch.

She is so strong.

Scare crow (Aunt Kelly) and Pumpkin (Darci). So cute!

She loved the tire swing. She did a really good job holding on!

Crazy orange wig. Not really sure why she isn't wearing any clothes.

Saturday night we went to the trunk or treat at the church. Darci wasn't too sure what was going on with getting candy at peoples cars. She liked giving it out better. After she passed out the Candy to the trick or treaters on Halloween, she found the candy bowl and started handing out the candy to everyone at home.

Rockin out with uncle Eric.

This video is really dark since it was outside, but you can kind of see it.

Helping pass out the candy! She Loved that part!

My cute little Rock Star!

First time I've used hair spray on her. If she hadn't messed it up in the car seat it would have worked very well. Luckily I brought the hair spray and comb with us to the trunk or treat.

This is the ghost they made to scare the trick or treaters!
It worked! ;)

Videos

Here are some cute videos of Darci.

Saying "CHEESE" for the camera!

She took all the clothes out of the basket, climbed in and started spinning around. She does this often, in clothes baskets, boxes, etc...

A month or so ago she learned how to climb in her high chair. She tries to climb on EVERYTHING! She is a crazy little girl.

This was taken with my phone, so its not the best quality,

Sittin in her toy box reading her book.

Cheesy smile.

HaHa! This may be a bit inappropriate but its hilarious.

Saying prayers with Daddy. When we say its time for prayers, she runs into her room, kneels down and folds her arms. She has now started to "talk" quietly a bit, trying to say her prayers by herself.

Really long post....

Darci and I went to Oregon to visit for a week. Merrill came for the weekend and we all went to the Oregon State Fair. We did lots of stuff, it was fun.

Grandma reading to her grandkids

Darci and Wyatt eating breakfast. Wyatt slept over at grandma's. These two are best friends, as long as Wyatt doesn't get in Darci's face too much.

At the fair in the little petting zoo. The goats were running around chasing each other and running into the other animals and people, including me in the pic above.

Video of Darci in the petting zoo thing. Those goats where all over the place. One came pretty close to running into Darci, and another tried to eat my coat.

Wyatt riding the track. He is so good. Everyone comments at how impressed they are that he rides the track so well at only age 2.

Darci on Wyatt's run bike

Yummy ice cream

It was her first ice cream cone, she loved it

They love the carousel!

Grandma made this little house for the kids

This was the house before she put the wrapping paper over it, and Wyatt wanted her to come inside with him. Silly Grandma ;)

Roasting marshmallows in Grandma and Grandpas fire pit.

Little Easton, isn't he just the cutest!
Sorry this pic is blurry, but I thought it was cute.

So worn out from her week at Grandma's, she fell asleep while eating lunch.

Playing the recorder. She got it on the first try.

Riding the little motorcycle with Grandpa, so fun!

These next pics are at the Gilbert House, Discovery Village, a little children's museum in Salem.

This room was set up like a store, they had little baskets and shopping carts for the kids to walk around and "shop" there was a little cash register too, it was cute. they have fun picking out their food. Darci picked out: a Banana, carrot, apple, strawberry, bread, canned corn and peas, and some salt.
This was a big "stomach" that the kids could crawl in and play with the little balls. Darci did not want to get out, I had to crawl in there and drag her out.
The jungle room
The dinosaur slide

The shadow room. There was this big screen, and a little light projector thing that shined on you and displayed your shadow outlined in color. Way cool

Huge rocking Chair

Darci loved the swings
This stuff was in the back of the museum. Such an awesome play area! It was huge!

This thing was cool, it was like a maze with steps and ladders going everywhere, and 3 tube slides, one started at the top, it was intense and Darci and Wyatt loved it.
Wyatt "catching" Me and Darci coming out of the slide.

They loved this car thing
