Cory and Cheryl

Last Saturday, April 7th, My baby brother got married. They were sealed in the Portland Oregon Temple for Time and All Eternity. It was such a great day, Also the only nice day (not raining) all week! They are so happy, and we are all so excited to have Cheryl join our family!

Introducing Mr and Mrs Bird!

Soo Pretty! Love her dress!

It was in the morning and a bit cold, Darci was a little clingy and just wanted to be held the whole time. Other than that, both Kids were amazing the whole day, hardly a fuss out of either one! :)

Kids running around at the reception. They pretty much did this the whole time.

....Even during the Bride and Groom's first dance!

Grandma and Grandpa Larsen Visit

Apparently I didn't take as many pictures of the week as I thought that I did. Either that, or they got deleted. The rest of the week we pretty much just stayed around the house. Merrill and Eric went out and did some things the couple days that Merrill had off. And Saturday while Don was here, the boys went to the air museum and to Priesthood session of General Conference. And the Girls, including my mom and future sisters-in-law went out to dinner.
I introduced Susan to Pinterest and showed her the many awesome recipes I have collected. I made a few of them for dinner during the week, and we picked out 3 desserts and made them, 2 of which we took to my families house for a big get together to watch conference, they were YUMMY!

Darci picked Uncle Eric to read her bedtime stories. She picked him over Mommy and Grandma. She had fun with her Uncle Eric.

Eating the Marshmallow cream from the measuring cup
Of course it got everywhere

While they were here, Jarret learned to push himself up to sitting position. He doesn't crawl yet, and wasn't to sturdy sitting up on his own, but he learned quickly how to sit up on his own.
This is him getting into sitting position

Grandma and Grandpa Larsen Day 2

The 2nd day, which was raining all day, we went to Pietro's Pizza. It's a big Pizza place with an arcade, mini golf and Laser Tag. We were going to play mini golf, but we decided not to, plus apparently it was black light mini golf or something like that, I don't think the kids would have liked it that much. Instead we played a few arcade games, which Darci loves! She got enough tickets to get a flashlight key chain and 2 suckers!

After pizza and arcade games, we went to the Carousel at the park (one of Darci's favorite things).

Grandma and Grandpa Larsen - Day 1

The last week in March, Merrill's parents and brother came to visit for spring break. Don had to work during the week, so Susan and Eric came Monday and Don came on Friday. Merrill had to work the first couple days that they were here. Luckily had I the time off. We didn't get to do too much, cause it rained the whole time :(
On Tuesday it looked like there was a few hours where it wasn't raining. I had some free passes to Enchanted Forest, so we went. It rained a tiny bit, but not bad. There wasn't many people there. Darci had a blast. It was a pretty fun day! Here are some pics:

Darci wasn't so sure about going in there, but we told her it was the way to the slide. ;)

Jarret is 6 months

This last 6 months have gone by way too fast! I can't believe my little baby is halfway to 1 year. He is a very happy little baby. He had his Well baby visit yesterday. He did great with his shots, he just cried until I picked him up, and hasn't been fussy about it since. Here are his stats:

Height 27 inches about 70%
weight 17.1 lbs about 50%
head: 17.5 inches about 75%

Skills:
Smiles at EVERYONE (he stares at someone new, or who I am talking to, and waits for them to look at him then smiles BIG!), loves to play with his toys, makes many different noises, he can get into crawling position and gets really excited then face plants, eats baby food (he's not really a fan of the fruits so far, he seems to like the veggies best), he can stand holding onto something without support. Rolls over both ways, all over the place, pushes himself backwards around the living room on his tummy.

Comparing Jarret and Darci's 6 months stats:
Darci was 18.9 lbs 1.8 lbs heavier than Jarret. 25.5 inches, 1.5 inches shorter than Jarret.
Each time I compare their stats, it reminds me how big Darci really was. ;)

Here are some pictures of Jarret this month

Trying to see in his toy box

He pushes himself backwards around the room and got stuck under the couch

First time on the swings, and he LOVED it!

My attempts to curl Darci's hair. I'm not very good, but it's still super cute! ;)

I knew it wouldn't stay. So we decided to play with it a little more.

(I didn't notice her eyes were closed til after I put the pics on the computer)

Trip to Idaho

Jarret and I went with my parents to Idaho to visit my Aunt Sheri and cousin Lindsay. And so that my mom could help my aunt for the weekend. My mom's aunt and uncle live in Boise and her Grandma lives with them too. We stopped in Boise for a quick visit on our way to Lindsay's house in Mountain Home.

Here is Jarret with his Great Great Grandma

The only picture I took of everyone, minus me and Sheri
(i'm sure France will like this picture ;) haha)

Jarret, while we were blowing up the air bed.

So cute, Sammy and Jarret, they are going to be best buds! ;)

Sam had a good time crawling all over Jarret. Funny thing is, Jarret didn't seem to care.

Sleeping babies! :)

Sittin in the car like a big boy!

Dad and France hanging a shelf. Apparently they had to get a bit creative to make it work right. They did a good job!

One last picture of the boys before we left. It was easiest to get a picture if mom held them. ;)

While we were there, Jarret fell in love with this Elmo that belonged to Sammy. Elmo has magical powers that stop Jarret from fussing in his car seat by singing la la la. And then he snuggles him to fall asleep. And before we left Lindsay and Sammy made sure that Jarret took him home with us. Thanks again Sam!

4 months

Jarret is now 4 1/2 months. We just had his 4 month appointment. Here are his stats:

Weight: 15lbs 15 oz-- 65%
Height: 26in-- 75 %
Head: 17in-- 70 %

New Skills: Rolls over from back to front like a pro (he can roll from his tummy to back, but he cries when he does, and doesn't do it often). Hits his toys. Grabs his toys and brings them to his mouth. Stands up well with support and stomps his feet. Pushes himself up while on his tummy. Scoots backwards while on his tummy and turns around. Blows bubbles and spits. Laughs, and smiles at everyone! Learning to sit up on his own. Grabs his feet when laying down or sitting up.

Here are his 4 month pictures that I took. A little photo session with my new camera! ;)

He looks so different from his 2 month pictures! ;) Doesn't look like he is ONLY 2 months older now.
