Colorado and Darci

Darci had her 2 month Doctor visit the other day. Everything is great. She weighs 13.8 pounds and is in the 99 percentile! She's our little chunk!
We've been living in Colorado with Merrill's parents since the beginning of July, while Merrill does an internship. This is our last week here. We are going back to Utah so Merrill can finish his last semester at BYU. We've had fun while we've been here. We didn't take a lot of pictures, just of Darci. While we've been here, we went to the Denver Botanic Gardens, the Denver Aquarium, I went to the Denver air museum with a friend, Merrill went to the air show at the rockie mountain airport, we went to a Rockies game against the Giants and it was awesome! We spent a lot of time at home doing puzzles, mainly me and Merrill's mom. Somehow I am still not bored with them. We did about 30 all together.
Well, her are some pictures that I did take while we were here, and some of Darci.

Sleeping with Grandpa Larsen. She liked spending time with Grandpa outside.

Sitting up by herself, only for a sec.

All 14 puzzles of Thomas Kinkade paintings that we put together. A total of about 5350 pieces.

I took a break from posting and went downstairs to play with Darci. And just as Merrill got home, we discovered that Darci can stand. Obviously not completely by herself, i have to support her from falling over. But she holds her weight herself.

2 Months

Darci is 2 months old today! She has the cutest smile, and makes the cutest little noises, like she is trying to talk. I have been trying to get it on camera, but I haven't been very successful. She just stares at the camera. Sometimes when she is sleeping, she'll get this huge smile on her face, and I swear she laughs. Its so cute.

The Vacuum

The other day, Grandma Larsen discovered that Darci likes the Vacuum. She was fussing and Grandma started vacuuming, and she stopped crying. When the vacuum was turned off, she started fussing again. Here is a video..

7 weeks

Here are some cute, funny pictures of Darci. She is now 7 weeks old, and smiling a lot. But, it is hard to get it on camera, her mood changes quickly.

Finally a picture of her mostly smiling.

Stretch!
Her shirt says, "some birdy loves me" ;)

This one is hilarious. I thought her hair looked pretty funny after washing and drying with the towell, so I got my camera to get a picture and she made this face. Too funny!

Darci's blessing

Merrill and I are now living in Colorado with his parents for the summer while Merrill does his internship here. So, we blessed Darci here in his parents ward. Merrill's sister Sharon got married the week before in Utah and had a reception here in Colorado the day before the blessing, so their family was all here, and my parents came from Oregon. Here are some pictures.

One month

Darci is 1 month old today. She has changed so much. And still cute as can be.
Here are some pictures of her from this last week.

I put her in her crib to go to sleep and as soon as I put her down she was wide awake making this face. I love it when she makes this face, its so cute!

After her bath. Look at that hair!

Cute Pictures

Darci is now 2 weeks old. She has already changed so much since she was born. She has been a really good baby. Here are some cute pictures of her.

Merrill making faces at her

She is always trying to suck on our hands when she can reach

Taking her medicine. She is so good when I give it to her. She'll actually stop crying when I put it in her mouth. I have her all wrapped up to keep her hands out of the way, and none of it seems to bother her.
The last couple nights, she has rolled over on her side when she sleeps. Its so cute.

Home at last!

Today was the big day. Darci was able to come home! She proved to the Doctor that she was healthy and could eat well! I was there all day yesterday and through the night to feed her so we could come home this morning. We are so happy she is doing so good and can finally be home with us. No more back and forth from the hospital!! Here are some pictures from this morning bringing her home.
