The other day Darci climbed onto Merrill's tool box and then on to the couch. The best part was her trying to get down. This video is her coming down from the couch.
And here are some random pictures, from the past couple weeks...

Park/Another trip to Oregon
I took Darci over to the little playground we have at our apartment complex today. We've taken her to the park before and she's gone down the slide and swings on the swings, but never really got excited. Today she did get excited going down the slide. She even did it by herself, and I would catch her at the end. So when Merrill got home from work, we went back to the slide to show Daddy how she loved to go down the slide like a big girl!
Here are some other Cute pictures of her from the last couple days.
These ones are from our trip to Oregon for Mother's Day and My nephew's blessing.

Denver/Wedding
Last weekend we went to Colorado for Kelly's (Merrill's sister) wedding. It was a lot of fun. Everyone was there. The first day we were there we were going to go to the zoo, but we woke up to it snowing outside! So, we went to the Denver aquarium instead. (the snow had stopped, but still too cold for the babies)
Darci loved the fishes. She started to get more interested in it all, once we got to the big tanks with the really big fish. She wanted to stand right up to it and she got mad when I tried to pick her up to move on to the next thing.
Then Saturday was the wedding, the forecast had said it was going to rain, but luckily it was really nice, a little windy at times, but mostly sunny and nice. Here are some pics from the day.
This is a video of Lance and Kelly dancing to Lance's Dad singing "I cross my Heart". Aparently Lance's Dad sometimes sings with George Strait's Band, or some of them, I'm not totally sure the whole story. He sang a few a his new songs, and this one. It was awesome.

Easter in Oregon
We went down to my parents for Easter weekend. My sister-in-law was due on Easter, and hadn't had the baby yet, and I didn't want to drive home and drive back after the baby was born. so I stayed. she ended up having the baby Tuesday morning. And I was going to go home Friday, but Merrill decided to come back to see the baby and work on his motorcycle with my Dad. So, I was there for almost 2 weeks. It was a lot of fun.

Darci Walking
Darci is so close to walking around. She can walk by herself from one thing to another. She doesn't quite have enough courage to just walk around.
She starting saying 'bababa" the other day, and once she got it down, she did not stop till she went to bed. Its been a couple days, and she is still saying it constantly. Its so cute. It kinda sounds like blah blah blah, cause she kinds sticks out her tounge.

Oregon trip
Last week Merrill had to go to North Carolina for some training. So I went down to Oregon to visit. We had a lot of fun. Darci loves being at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We went to the carousel, she got a little scared when it first started (I think part of it was the wind in her face from it moving fast) but then she loved it, and the 2nd time we rode, she was waving as it went around. We went shopping and got Darci an Easter dress, and Aunt Capri took some pictures that are way cute! Aunt Capri also gave Darci her first Hair cut (besides her bangs), she just trimmed it a bit. And Grandma bought a little bunny while we were there, Darci had fun with him, he's such a cute little bunny, I think they named him Gizmo.
Here are some pictures of the week. (I have some videos too, we'll see if I can get them loaded on a later post).
There are a lot of frogs at Grandma's, I caught this one and put it on the post outside, it stayed there for hours. Darci was fascinated by it.
Darci and Wyatt loved to ride around on Grandma and Grandpa's razor. Darci even took a turn helping Grandma drive. When we stopped she would bounce back and forth, like she was trying to get it to go again. Its too bad they are selling it.Posted by Jamie Larsen at 7:27 PM 2 comments
